Autumn is in the air
First, a special shoutout to my wonderful friends and family for your unconditional support and unrelenting faith in me. I wouldn’t be able to take these risks without you.
My workshop was named “To Thine Own Light Be True.” We talked about aligning with our authentic nature and the value of observation and curiosity in cultivating self-awareness. So often we live on autopilot and we aren’t paying attention to how we spend our time - where, with whom, when, why? When we are more thoughtful and intentional with our energy, we respond more efficiently, productively, and serenely.
I developed a simple guide to gently witnessing our behaviors. It can be found on the Resources page of my website.
Reflect: Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony. -Mahatma Gandhi
Meditate: If you are interested in implementing a meditation practice, start small and remember there is no wrong way to do it. Simply showing up is all that is required. Check out my 5-minute audio recording A Brief Pause on Insight Timer (an app I highly recommend). Even a few minutes of stillness can make a difference in your day.
My dear friend Valery opened my presentation on Sunday with a fantastic meditation. As a Doctor of Physical Therapy who specializes in Mindfulness Based Stressed Reduction, she is an amazing resource for one-on-one consultations and events that aim to incorporate self-reflection. Email her at valerymarie513@gmail.com for more information!
Thank you for allowing me to grace your inbox. It is truly an honor.
I wish you a beautiful month of October.
Xx,
Linz
